Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office seeks highly skilled licensed officers for our Patrol Division to protect life and property in a fast-growing Minnesota county. The role involves making critical decisions, mentoring staff, and advancing through leadership with strong training support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must meet POST licensure requirements.
• Must be eligible for Minnesota POST license.

Responsibilities

• Patrol Sherburne County to maintain public safety, law and order.
• Respond to wide range of calls, from felonies to misdemeanors and emergencies.
• Administer first aid, gather evidence, interview witnesses and make arrests.
• Enforce traffic laws and issue citations.
• Serve warrants, documents, and assist in complex investigations as needed.
• Coordinate with other agencies during emergencies and special operations.
• Prepare required reports and transport individuals in custody.
• Maintain professional relationships and attend court as required.
• Regular attendance and adherence to department policies.
