Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrols the North district in a patrol car to observe for criminal activity and to deter public danger.
• Investigates accidents and hazardous conditions; reports findings.
• Investigates crimes, interviews witnesses and victims; preserves evidence for court; conducts follow-up investigations.
• Enforces felony and misdemeanor laws; makes arrests following proper procedures.
• Serves warrants, subpoenas, and other official papers; testifies in court as required.
