Job summary

Salary:

$82,513.60 - $105,372.80 Annually

Position Summary:

Patrol Deputies respond to calls for service; patrol county roads, residential, and business areas; investigate traffic accidents; and enforce traffic and criminal laws.

Requirements:
  • Currently possess a Basic Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training "DPSST" certification OR other equivalent local, state or federal certification as a Police Officer or Sheriff's Patrol Deputy;
  • Have completed a Field Training Program;
  • Have at least one year of full-time equivalent (2080 hours) work experience as a Police Officer or Sheriff's Patrol Deputy. Completion of required work experience must not have occurred greater than 12 months prior to the date of application submission.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record per Washington County's policy.
