Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Patrol Coordination role in Los Angeles, CA. You will patrol automotive locations, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

As part of a dynamic team, you will follow site procedures, document observations, and communicate effectively during shifts that run Wed-Sat 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Requires supervisory experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check conducted as per laws and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations, documenting observations and escalation per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity per site procedures.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications accurately and timely.
