The Bremerton Police Department is seeking a dedicated police officer to patrol neighborhoods, respond to incidents, enforce laws, and protect citizens. You will investigate crimes, interview victims and witnesses, prepare clear reports, and assist in emergencies while maintaining public safety and order.

• Knowledge of federal, state, county and city laws and ordinances as they pertain to law enforcement.
• Ability to communicate effectively under stress and in emergencies.
• Proficiency in first aid and crisis intervention skills are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Patrols to prevent crime and enforce laws and regulations.
• Investigates incidents, interviews victims, witnesses, and suspects.
• Maintains accurate records and prepares reports on incidents and arrests.
• Assists in emergencies, provides information to the public, and performs related duties.
• May participate in training of new officers and reserves.
