• Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and enforce laws and regulations.
• Observe, report, and address conditions that may indicate crime or danger.
• Investigate calls, make arrests when warranted, transport prisoners and safeguard evidence.
• Provide emergency assistance, administer first aid, and perform crisis interventions.
• Prepare reports on arrests, incidents, and property; assist in searching and processing prisoners.
• Participate in investigations, interviews, and court testimony as needed.
• Maintain proficiency with police equipment and documentation.
• May participate in special assignments, including K-9, training, or crime prevention.
• Support training of new employees and reserves.
