Job summary

The U.S. Army is looking for candidates for the position of PATRIOT launching station enhanced operator. This role is part of the Army's critical air defense operation. Responsibilities include placing and operating the PATRIOT missile systems, performing maintenance, and ensuring effective communication in the field.

No prior experience is needed, and candidates will receive training at no cost, with full pay during this period. Candidates must pass the ASVAB tests to qualify.

Qualifications

• Must pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery tests.
• No prior experience required, but interest in electronics is beneficial.
• Training includes Basic Combat training and Advanced Individual Training.

Responsibilities

• Place and operate the PATRIOT missile system in the field.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Handle supply and maintenance of missiles.

Skills

Interest in missile and rocket operations

Physically and mentally fit to perform under pressure

Interest in electronics

Ability to multi-task

Capable of working as a team member

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (ASVAB required)
