Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) in Kuwait seeks an experienced EPP III Patriot Missile Generator Rebuild and HVAC Technician to perform rebuilds and sustainment on generators and HVAC systems used by the U.S. Army.

You will diagnose, repair, and test 3 kW–150 kW power units in field and shop environments. The role requires diesel engine and HVAC expertise, US citizenship, ability to obtain a Secret clearance within 12 months, and readiness to deploy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 6 years' related maintenance experience, or BA/BS with 2 years.
• Extensive diesel engine rebuild and generator experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform overhaul, maintenance and sustainment on 3kW to 150kW generators.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, Chillers, and Environmental Control Units.
• Fabricate wire harnesses and solder terminals.
• Operate a Load bank and dynometer during testing.
• Some work will be in a generator shop environment, and some in the field.
