Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Mayo Clinic Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN seeks a shift supervisor to direct associates on a specified shift, oversee that daily tasks meet quality, safety, and policy standards, and serve as a point of contact for team questions. Strong supervisory experience in food service is required.

This full‑time role offers a fixed pay rate of $27 per hour, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Location: Mayo Clinic Methodist Hospital – 201 West Center Street, Rochester, MN 55905.
• Schedule: Full–time schedule. Days and hours may vary; rotating weekends and holidays included.
• Previous food service and supervisory experience is required.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour.
