Universal Health Services in Denton, TX seeks a Patient Account Representative/Collector to manage billing, follow-up, and collections for assigned patient accounts. The role interacts with patients, insurance companies, and third-party payers to resolve balances, coordinating with collection agencies for bad debts.

Sign-on bonus of $1,000 is available with a full-time 1-year commitment. This position reports to the Texas Business Center at 5800 N-I35, Suite 505, Denton, TX 76207.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of one year in a health care collections or related field; familiarity with insurance billing and Excel preferred.
• Additional Requirements: This position may require flexible hours, to include overtime.

Position Summary

The Texas Business Center, located in Denton, TX just north of Dallas and Fort Worth, is seeking a dynamic and talented Patient Account Representative/Collector. The Patient Account Representative/Collector is responsible for the billing, follow-up, and collection of assigned patient accounts by contacting patients, insurance companies, and third-party payers to resolve all outstanding owed balances; works closely with collection agencies for bad debt recovery.
