Job Description: Patient Transporter

Michigan Medicine is seeking a Patient Transporter to join our team. The role involves transporting patients, including bodies of deceased patients, within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities include arriving at the unit with the specified transport vehicle, greeting and identifying patients, assisting with physical transfers, and ensuring safe transportation to appointments or the morgue.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Work Schedule

Shifts may include day, afternoon, midnight, weekends, and holidays.

Work Mode

Hybrid or remote work options are at the discretion of the department and subject to review.
