Responsabilidades

• Transport patients, secures IVs and drainage tubes, and secures patient.
• Use wheelchairs and rolling stock to carry out duties.
• Demonstrates competency in transporting all age groups.
• Ensure safe, timely transport of patients to destinations using proper equipment.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, clinicians, technicians or reception and dispatch.
• Ensure patient comfort and privacy; avoid unnecessary conversations.
• Alert nursing staff to distress or equipment issues.
• Maintain equipment and report any repairs needed.
• Follow regulatory standards, including HIPAA compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
