Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for a part-time Patient Transporter at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. The role ensures safe, timely transport of patients, equipment, and patient-related items to their destinations.

Schedule is part-time, 24 hours per week with hours/days varying and rotating weekends. Prior customer service experience is preferred. Pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

• Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients and secures IVs, drainage tubes, and patient.
• Uses wheelchairs or rolling stock to transport patients.
• Demonstrates competency in transporting patients of all age groups.
• Ensures timely and safe transport using the proper equipment.
• Communicates with nursing staff and dispatch.
• Maintains patient comfort and privacy; adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Alerts staff to distress or equipment malfunctions; reports repairs as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
