Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Patient Transporter PRN in Fort Smith to move patients and equipment across the Medical Center. You will follow safety practices, manage patient transfers, and support clinical teams as needed.

Strong customer service and teamwork are essential, with CPR/BLS certification required. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working with Epic to track locations and equipment movement.

Qualifications

• Two years customer service experience preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center.
• Performs various patient-related activities as assigned.
• Maintains PAR levels for equipment across locations.
• Uses Epic software to track patient locations and equipment movement, coordinating with other departments.
