Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a PRN Transporter for Deer Valley Medical Center and John C. Lincoln Medical Center. This role transports patients and materials across hospital areas, maintains equipment, and adheres to safety and patient care protocols.

Evening and weekend flexibility is valued to support the Network Central Transport Float Pool. Responsibilities include accurate documentation, handoffs to clinical staff, and proper patient identification.

Qualifications

• 6 months of healthcare and customer service experience preferred.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients by wheelchair, stretcher, bed, or chair across hospital areas.
• Maintain accurate documentation and proper patient handoff with clinical staff.
• Follow PPE guidelines and sanitize equipment after use.
• Maintain wheelchairs and stretchers; report malfunctions.
• Use Electronic Medical Record systems for patient transport.
