Job summary

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital seeks a Patient Transporter to shuttle patients to programs and appointments in Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area. The role requires safe driving, basic vehicle upkeep, and occasional assistance with patient activities.

This PRN/Per Diem position includes Saturday availability with potential to transition to full-time as the facility grows, supporting a 120-bed behavioral health hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred education: Two years focused on nursing assistance or related field preferred.
• Minimum experience: Passenger transportation experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from the program and appointments safely and punctually.
• Perform basic automotive maintenance such as fueling, fluid checks, and tire inflation.
• Assist with patient activities between transports as needed.
• Transport meals from nearby external facility as required.
• May support other facility areas as assigned.
