Job summary

AdventHealth in Land O Lakes, FL seeks a PRN Transport Support to assist with patient transport and equipment handling. The role requires strong customer service, the ability to work with diverse patients, and teamwork with clinical staff.

CPR/BLS is required, HS diploma preferred, and a driver's license is a plus. Shifts are 8 hours as needed, with regular Wednesday duties; on-site work environment with emphasis on safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

Job Description:

Hours: PRN (Pier Diem) - Days (as needed), including Every Wednesday

Varying days, consisting of 8-hour shifts when needed, requested, etc.

**The only regularly scheduled day is Wednesday**

**Please do not consider applying to this role if you are unable to commit to working an 8-hour shift every Wednesday**

• Assists with surgery transport
• Maintains clear hallways by moving unused equipment to designated storage areas.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Ensures the proper handling and delivery of medical equipment and supplies.
• Participates in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to follow patient identification/verification process prior to transporting all patients.

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ year public contact in a medical setting [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Driver's License (DL) [Preferred]
