Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a dependable Courier Services Aide responsible for transporting patients, specimens and equipment throughout the facility, and greeting and assisting patients and visitors as directed.

Required High School Education or GED; BLS certification required; Associate's degree preferred. This full-time, day-shift role based in Glendale offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. E-Verify participation is part of the employment process.

Job Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Essential Functions

• Cleans and maintains equipment, such as wheelchairs and gurneys and ensures availability for next use.
• Performs other duties as requested by Nursing Supervisor to assist with the smooth workflow of the department.
• Collects, logs and/or returns "lost and found" items and patients' belongings.
• Responds to hospital code and other emergency responses and situations as trained.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
