U.S. News and World Report also named GW Hospital as a High Performing Hospital for Maternity Care (Uncomplicated Pregnancy) in 2024, recognizing the hospital's high standards for uncomplicated pregnancies.
Kimberly Russo, CEO of GW Hospital, stated, "We are thrilled that GW Hospital’s commitment to quality care has been recognized. Our multidisciplinary teams are dedicated to clinical excellence, research, and education to achieve the best outcomes. This recognition reflects our advanced services, expertise, and dedication of our care team. We are committed to elevating healthcare in our community and the greater DMV area.”
To be ranked as a Best Regional Hospital, institutions must outperform peers in procedures and conditions evaluated by U.S. News & World Report, including survival rates, patient experience, nursing care, and successful patient discharges.
