• We are hiring immediately for part-time PATIENT TRANSPORTER positions.
• Address: Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital - 47601 Grand River Avenue, Novi, MI 48374. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Patient Transporter

Summary: Responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transport of patients, equipment, and related items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport patients safely, securing IVs, drainage tubes, etc., and ensuring patient comfort.
• Use wheelchairs and approved rolling stock for transportation.
• Demonstrate competency across all age groups.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients.
• Maintain patient comfort and privacy, avoiding transport in severe pain.
• Report any patient distress or equipment issues immediately.
• Maintain and report on equipment status.
• Follow all regulatory standards and confidentiality policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
