Conemaugh Health System is seeking a PRN Transporter to support patient care and hospital operations by safely transporting patients and equipment throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include moving patients via wheelchair or stretcher, transporting with oxygen tanks and monitors, and assisting with transfers to and from vehicles while greeting patients and visitors. A high school diploma and BCLS certification within 30 days are preferred and required respectively.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification: BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Strong communication and ability to work with minimal supervision in a hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed to designated locations.
• Safely transports patients with oxygen tanks, IV pumps, monitors, and other equipment.
• Assists patients with entering/exiting vehicles and transfers to/from wheelchairs.
• Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting staff or departments.
• Greets patients and visitors, providing information and directions.
• Collaborates with clinical and support staff to ensure timely transport services.
