Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in Southern Indiana/Louisville area seeks a part-time Transporter for 48 hours biweekly. The role moves patients throughout the facility by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, and also handles specimens, equipment, supplies, messages, and parcels with care and courtesy.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification (training provided), and healthcare experience preferred; the hospital offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients throughout Baptist Health Floyd facility via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed in a timely, courteous manner.
• Transport specimens, equipment, supplies, messages, and parcels as designated.
• Perform other support services to provide service excellence to patients, visitors and hospital staff.
