Our patient transport team keeps Mercy moving!
Transports patients and equipment within the Medical Center, performing various patient-related activities as assigned. Responsible for training new co-workers on all aspects of the Transport process. Ensures safe patient transportation utilizing proper body mechanics, maintains PAR levels for equipment, and regularly wears PPE. Demonstrates the ability to work well with co-workers across departments. Uses Epic software to track patient and equipment movement, and trains new co-workers to operate Epic correctly. Performs duties aligned with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards, and performs all other duties as assigned.
