We’re a Little Different - Now Hiring!

Our patient transport team keeps Mercy moving! We transport patients and equipment within the Medical Center, perform patient-related activities, and train new co-workers on the transport process. Ensuring patient safety, proper body mechanics, and equipment maintenance are key responsibilities. We use Epic software to track patient and equipment movement and train new co-workers in its operation. All duties are performed in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Overview:

• Candidates must be able to read and understand basic instructions.
• One year transporting experience or two years customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or hospitality helpful, as navigating mobility and patient care equipment is involved.
• Must meet physical demands of the position.
