Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Transport teammate at Elmhurst Hospital for part-time night shifts from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. You will move patients by wheelchair or stretcher, assist with disconnecting and reconnecting IV pumps, and deliver patient equipment to nursing floors.

Candidates must have a high-school diploma, American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers, and at least six months of customer service or patient transporter experience.

Qualifikationen

• High-school diploma required; American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers preferred.
• Minimum six months of customer service or patient transporter experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, push/pull heavy loads, and work in environments with drafts/noise.

Work requires the ability to lift over 50 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. a distance of 30 feet. Push/pull > 200 lbs. (i.e. Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer or max assist sit to stand transfer.What you will do:Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, transports patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or alternative means. This includes disconnecting and re-connecting patient’s IV pumps from the IV pole and oxygen.
