Responsibilities

The Radiology Transporter is responsible for transporting patients to and from the Radiology Department, performing darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients, and handling front office tasks such as answering phones, greeting patients, and preparing requisitions. Additional duties include filing patient reports, retrieving records, and supporting clerical functions using telephone, computer, PACS, and other office equipment. The role requires good communication skills, knowledge of radiology terminology, and a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Must have BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current status throughout employment.

2. Transportation experience preferred.

3. Starting April 2014, all new hires must have a High School diploma or equivalent.

The current compensation rate for this role is $21.00/hr. The final offer will consider experience, education, credentials, and other factors.
