PATIENT TRANSPORTER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Job Summary: Responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment, and patient-related items to their destinations.

Responsibilities:

• Properly and safely transport patients, securing IVs, drainage tubes, etc., and ensuring patient safety.
• Use wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to carry out transportation duties.
• Demonstrate competency in transporting patients of all age groups.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare staff and patients.
• Ensure patient comfort and privacy during transport.
• Report any patient distress or equipment issues immediately.
• Maintain and report on equipment condition.
• Follow regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and facility policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous patient transporting experience preferred.

• Schedule: Full-time and part-time; hours may vary.
• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.
