Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare Drivers are a core component of exceptional behavioral healthcare service delivery. Our drivers are the first face our patients see when entering our care and the last face they see when leaving.

They are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and safe, caring transport for all patients, transporting them to and from clinical services, ancillary, and support services. Additional responsibilities include vehicle cleaning and sanitation to ensure a safe transport

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in hospital or behavioral healthcare or transportation is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from behavioral healthcare services.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, self, and co-workers.
• Communicate with team, co-workers, and patients in a positive and professional manner.
• Take initiative to deliver the best customer service, even during times of stress.
• Be knowledgeable of all aspects and functionalities of the client transportation system.
• Provide appropriate safety oversight and monitoring for all clients while in transport.
