Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare Drivers are a core component of exceptional behavioral healthcare service delivery. Our drivers provide safe, caring transport for patients to and from clinical, ancillary, and support services, ensuring a safe transport environment for both patients and staff.

Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma or GED and an active driver’s license; CPR training within 30 days of hire is required along with completed safety trainings.

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Active valid driver’s license.
• CPR course within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of safety trainings upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from behavioral healthcare services.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients, self, and co-workers.
• Communicates with team, co-workers, and patients in a positive and professional manner.
• Takes initiative to deliver the best customer service, even during times of stress.
• Knowledgeable of all aspects and functionalities of the client transportation system.
• Provides appropriate safety oversight and monitoring for all clients while in transport.
