Job summary

UTHealth Tyler is seeking a day shift, PRN Patient Transporter in Tyler, TX to support patient movement across the hospital.

You will transport patients to Radiology, process films, and assist with transfers using wheelchairs and carts, ensuring safety and efficiency in care delivery.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and Texas Registration; IV Admixture certification is a plus, with a People-First team culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• IV Admixture Certification Course through an approved ACPE provider.
• Texas Registration required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to Radiology from all floors and areas of the hospital.
• Process films and makes copies when needed.
• Cleans and stocks wheelchairs and carts with proper supplies, helps to transfer patients to and from beds, tables, and carts.
• Transports patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).
