Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s Shady Grove Medical Center is seeking a Transporter for a part-time role. The position involves transporting patients within the hospital, supporting nursing units when available, and assisting with schedule organization and supplies.

A BS-level BLS certification is required, along with a high school diploma or GED. Working on the day shift, you will typically complete 24 hours per week (3 days a week) with weekend rotations and a standard 7:00 am–3:30 pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification required.
• Ability to prioritize and report changes in patient condition to RN.
• Experience in a clinical care setting preferred.
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from locations within the hospital.
• Organize and distribute schedules; maintain transportation supplies.
• Assist on nursing units when available.
