NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a part-time Transporter for weekend and weekday swing shifts (11:00 am to 7:00 pm). Our Transporter staff is essential to ensuring a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients and their families.

The Transporter/Messenger role focuses on transporting patients and supplies, providing patient-friendly hospitality, escorting throughout the hospital, and delivering superior customer service while maintaining safety and comfort at all times.

Qualifications

• Extensive customer service experience and a desire to Put Patients First
• Must be able to read, write and speak English clearly
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and supplies throughout the hospital and messengering as needed
• Escort patients to areas within the hospital and respond to inquiries politely
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient comfort and safety at all times
