Job summary

Geisinger Wyoming Valley is hiring a Patient Transporter to move patients and equipment safely throughout the hospital and clinics. The role requires dependable, patient-focused team members and does not require a clinical license.

Full-time, 40 hours per week, with Day shifts from 11am to 7:30pm, weekends and holidays rotation. Geisinger offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, $15.25 minimum hiring rate with higher rates for experience, and shift differentials for evenings,

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to organize and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Comfort with using technology systems for transports.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and equipment within hospital and clinics.
• Assist with patient transfers to and from transport modes.
• Maintain equipment and wheelchair availability.
• Use the technology system to log transports and track delays.
