Job summary

UT Health Tyler is seeking a day shift Patient Transporter in Tyler, Texas. The role involves moving patients to Radiology, handling imaging films, and ensuring wheelchairs and carts are clean and stocked.

You will assist in transferring patients across beds, tables, and carts, serving patients from neonatal through geriatric ages. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, an Intravenous Admixture Certification Course, and Texas Registration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Intravenous Admixture Certification Course through an approved ACPE provider is required.
• Texas Registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to Radiology from all floors and areas of the hospital.
• Process films and makes copies when needed.
• Cleans and stocks wheelchairs and carts with proper supplies, helps transfer patients to and from beds, tables, and carts.
• Transports patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).
