Job summary

Tyler Regional Hospital in Tyler, TX is seeking a Patient Transporter for day shift and PRN coverage. You will move patients to Radiology and other areas, assist with transfers, and help prepare carts and wheelchairs to ensure safe, efficient patient flow throughout the hospital.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and Texas registration. An IV Admixture Certification is required by our ACPE provider. Join a team dedicated to compassionate care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Intravenous Admixture Certification Course through an approved ACPE provider.
• Texas Registration required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to Radiology from all floors and areas of the hospital.
• Process films and makes copies when needed.
• Cleans and stocks wheelchairs and carts with proper supplies, helps to transfer patients to and from beds, tables, and carts.
• Transports patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).
