Job summary

HCA Florida West Hospital is seeking a Patient Transporter to join our patient-care team in Pensacola. You will be responsible for the safe and expeditious transport of patients and supplies across the campus, coordinating with teammates to support smooth operations.

Qualified candidates may have Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, vocational or technical training, and CNA experience, reflecting our commitment to high-quality care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Vocational or technical education preferred.
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and supplies safely and expeditiously to and from locations on campus.
• Collaborate with health care team including physicians to deliver quality care.

Patient Transporters are responsible for the safe and expeditious transport of customers and supplies to and from locations throughout the campus. Collaborates with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality healthcare.
