This is a part-time, 25% FTE position, working every other weekend. More hours during the week if available/desired. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Patient Services Aide to:

• Provide excellent customer service while safely transporting patients to and from nursing units and various therapy/laboratory areas throughout the University Hospital and the American Family Children's Hospital.
• Ensure timely transportation and patient safety, comfort, and privacy during transport.
• Use the Patient Transport information system to record transactional data regarding transport requests.
• Document transport details on daily logs and obtain signatures from clinical staff for cancellations, reschedules, and patient drop-offs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Work Experience

• Relevant patient care experience in a healthcare setting (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• CPR certification or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire (Required)
