A leading healthcare provider in Dallas is seeking a Patient Transporter. In this role, you will assist in transporting patients throughout the hospital for medical procedures while ensuring their safety and comfort. Provides prompt courteous transportation services to patients and visitors. Collaborates communication and services between IP, ED and ancillary services. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Your Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prefer 1 year of healthcare experience preferred
Your Job Responsibilities:
• Transports patients throughout the hospital to various locations for medical procedures
• Transports patients via wheelchair to private transportation after discharge
• Monitors the scheduling system for transport requests and completes them promptly
• Ensures patients are safe and comfortable during transport
• Maintains equipment through regular safety inspections, cleaning and storage.
