Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation is seeking a courteous transport associate to move patients and supplies across the hospital, ensuring items are available for patient care. You will also maintain a germ-free environment and document transports in the department log.

Minimum requirements include the ability to complete a high school education and up to 6 months hospital or customer service experience; HS diploma/GED or higher preferred. This role is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HS diploma/GED or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, equipment, and/or supplies throughout hospital to ensure items are available when needed for patient care.
• Maintains a safe and germ free environment for all customers.
• Documents all patient transports on appropriate departmental log.
• Inspects equipment prior to usage to ensure in proper working order.
