Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Patient Transporter to support patient flow and safety across departments. You will greet patients, transport to and from clinical, ancillary and support areas, and assist staff with transfers using proper safety techniques.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, aiding in moving patients from beds or wheelchairs, and delivering specimens, orders and equipment to appropriate destinations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of related experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Current BLS through the American Heart Association is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are currently recruiting for a Transporter to join our team! As our Transporter, you will be responsible for greeting and transporting patients to and from all major ancillary departments using proper safety techniques and mode of transportation.
