HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Patient Transporter to greet and move patients between departments using proper safety techniques. You will support clinical staff by transferring patients from beds, wheelchairs or stretchers and ensure timely delivery of specimens, orders, and equipment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of related experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
• Current BLS through the American Heart Association is required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

As our Transporter, you will be responsible for greeting and transporting patients to and from all major ancillary departments using proper safety techniques and mode of transportation. What you will do in this role:

• You will transport patients to and from clinical, ancillary and support areas as requested.

• You will assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs or stretchers.

What Qualifications you will need:
