Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license.
• Experience or training demonstrating ability to perform the duties of Motor Vehicle Operator as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Receive work assignment and direction from the Transportation Coordinator or Mobility Manager.
• Arrive at and depart from pickup and discharge points on schedule.
• Read installation maps and judge road/traffic conditions to determine shortest and safest route.
• Enforce passenger safety and seatbelt use.
• Operate MDC devices in and out of vehicles for trips and duties.
• Load and unload patients and medical supplies.
• Perform operator maintenance and safety checks on vehicles.
• Maintain records of actions and inspections.
• Communicate with dispatcher or supervisor by radio for assignments.
