Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Part Time Patient Transportation Tech at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati. This role transports patients, assists with arrival and departure, and supports movement of specimens, supplies and medications between units.

CPR/BLS certified staff provide safe, compassionate service in a fast-paced hospital environment. Qualifcations include a High School Diploma, CPR/BLS, and strong communication skills; familiarity with radios and computer use is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS and CPR certifications are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with computers and phone use.
• Ability to pass CPR course and operate a two-way radio.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to/from nursing units, procedure areas and labs.
• Assist patients arriving and departing; transport specimens, supplies and meds.
• Move patients with equipment while following safety policies.
• Maintain equipment, support infection control and time management.
• Work under supervision with service and safety standards.
