Job summary

TriHealth’s Bethesda Butler Hospital in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Patient Transporter Tech to move patients, supplies, and equipment between nursing units, labs, and procedure areas. The role supports patient comfort and safety while coordinating with nursing staff and dispatchers.

The position requires a High School Diploma, BLS certification, and the ability to use a two-way radio. CPR training and up to 1 year of related experience are advantageous, with full‑time hours and shifting schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong verbal communication and writing skills.
• Knowledge of computers and phones.
• Ability to pass a CPR course.
• Ability to effectively use a two-way radio.
• Up to 1 year of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from nursing units, procedure areas, testing areas, therapy, and laboratories.
• Assist patients arriving and departing from the hospital, as well as handling specimens, supplies, medications and related items.
• Support movement of patients to bed or equipment, while following safety policies and time standards.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; follow infection control guidelines and department policies.
• Demonstrate service excellence per TriHealth standards and collaborate with dispatch and leadership.
