UCLA Outpatient Clinics is seeking a Patient Transporter for a part-time per diem role. The position involves assisting in patient movement and supporting the transport function across departments.

Responsibilities include positioning, transferring and transporting patients by wheelchair, bed, or gurney; equipment maintenance and cleaning; delivering and picking up specimens, blood, medical equipment, records, medications; and transporting deceased patients to the morgue.

Description

As a Patient Transporter, you will be responsible of positioning, transferring and transporting patients to and from various departments or locations by wheelchair, bed, or gurney. You may also perform teaching and training functions, dispatching function, and limited clerical duties for the transport function. Other role responsibilities include:

• Equipment maintenance and cleaning or disinfection
• Deliver and pick-up specimens, blood, medical equipment, medical records, medications, and various other items
• Transport deceased patients to the morgue

This is a part-time "as needed" per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary. May convert to Career.

Pay Rate: $29.44 Hourly
