Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required or obtained within orientation period.
• Healthcare and/or transport experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Transport patients and related items to and from hospital locations.
• Provide hand-off communication to the receiving nurse.
• Verify patient information with two forms of verification and proper ID.
• Notify departments within five minutes of delays for scheduled procedures.
• Maintain daily transportation logs with times, patient name, and equipment.
• Clean and disinfect transport equipment between transports.
