Qualifications

• Must complete the PASS training covering wheelchair securement, lifts, and passenger assistance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with limited mobility during boarding and exiting.
• Coordinate trip details: referrals, trip eligibility, pickup/destination info, appointment and return times, routing, caregiver accompaniment, cancellations, delays.
• Document and log accurate trip logs and odometer readings.
• Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspections and report issues.
• Keep in-vehicle safety gear, first aid kits, and spill kits stocked.
• Document and follow incident response procedures.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and labor laws.
• Attend staff meetings and conferences as required.
