Job summary

St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Virginia is seeking a Full time Transporter to support patient movement under the direction of the Manager, Patient Transport or an authorized designee. The transporter will safely and efficiently move patients throughout the Medical Center.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, nurse aide training preferred, and BLS certification. Prior experience with patients or the public is helpful; strong communication, good body mechanics

Qualifications

• Nurse aide program preferred.
• Nurse aide experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely and efficiently under supervision.
• Communicate with patients and nursing staff.
