Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Patient Attendant to transport patients to and from diagnostic areas across hospital departments. The role involves moving equipment, assisting with oxygen cylinders and ensuring patient safety during transfers.

Relevant responsibilities include supporting Radiology and other units, maintaining documentation, and responding to codes and alerts as needed. High school diploma is preferred and CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to and from diagnostic areas (Radiology, Cardiology, Rehabilitation, G.I. Lab, CCU and Medical/Surgical Units).
• Assist with inventory and handling of department equipment and oxygen cylinders.
• Support Radiology staff with patient handling and safe transfer to tables as needed.
• Respond to codes and alerts and communicate with patients, visitors, physicians and staff.
