Job summary

UK King’s Daughters is seeking a dedicated driver to transport patients to medical appointments using the HCS Van Ministry. You will provide curb-to-curb service within a defined area, ensure timely transport for outpatient services, and support access to essential healthcare through compassionate, dependable service.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, 3–5 years of driving experience, and a valid driver’s license. CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years of driving experience is preferred.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to medical appointments as scheduled.
• Maintains safety of patients during transport using safety belts and necessary accommodations.
• Operates all vehicle equipment, including wheelchair lifts, tie-downs, cellular phones, and pagers.
• Completes written daily schedules and logs to ensure efficient patient transport.
• Performs routine safety and maintenance checks on the vehicle and keeps the vehicle clean.
• Demonstrates a safe driving record and maintains a valid driver’s license in good standing.
